This is a hidden jewel. It is in the basement. If you are looking for authentic Mexican food, this is your place. They can even make things less spicy upon request, unfortunately that doesn't apply to the daily specials. They even offer for take out some of their home made salsas, try the green one. They make fresh fruit juices and "aguas frescas", I highly recommend "horchata", tamarind, hibiscus and mango. The only caveat with this place is that it is mostly takeout. They do have a couple of tables and can accommodate up to 6 patrons so if you are lucky grab a table otherwise get takeout. My family and I tried one of their specials (pork grinds in green sauce), beef soup, breaded chicken with rice and beans (the Mexican rice has carrots and peas), a cemita (it is a sandwich with a special bread with sesame seeds) and a torta cubana (a sandwich in a prtuguese roll) Everything was tasty, we were impressed by how fresh the ingredients were and how tasty were even the simple things like their refried beans. With a main dish they include 4 handmade corn tortillas. If you are shy about interacting with people. You can even order online, I wish they would publish their daily specials there. I am definitely coming back again and highly recommend it.

Oh my god these are the best tacos I've ever had. I got the Tacos de Tinga, which is spicy chicken. They were moderately spicy and numbing and the chicken was extremely tender. The tacos also had avocado, cilantro, a grey stringy thing I'm not sure about. Doesn't matter, tasted amazing. Corn tortillas were firm and had a nice bite texture to them. On the side, there was salsa verde, cucumber slices, and lime which pair so so well with the tacos. Salsa added a bit of kick with jalapenos (I believe), the cucumber added good texture with its crispness, and the acidity of the lime helped as well. I was full after 3 tacos but ate the 4th one anyways. No regret!

Great food.... my friend invited me to eat here and I loved it. The pork tacos were so good. So much flavor and instead of 3 tacos they give 4 tacos in an order.

Very authentic Mexican food. Hole in the wall spot we found on accident on our way home from a soccer game. Not for dine in necessarily, only one table. But delicious food!

We tried this place on Saturday, may 20th, and we are definitely coming back or ordering for pick up or delivery. Keep in mind that if you're dining inside, it is a bit small. If the weather permits, you can eat outside. The food is delicious and the portions are good. The lady who took care of us was very nice and attentive. Highly recommended.

I'm not a huge fan of mexican food since I've had it every day for most of my life, but this food here is so good, especially the tacos dorados that come with yellow rice and beans which are so good ...everything mixes so well and having agua de jamaica - perfection.
